Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New World by Xu Ruotao was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 9,481.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xu Ruotao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work History No. 4, which sold at auction in April 2012 for HKD 200,000.00 (€ 19,487.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit New World von Xu Ruotao wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 9.481,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Xu Ruotao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit History No. 4 beobachtet, die im April 2012 für HKD 200.000,00 (€ 19.487,49) versteigert wurde.
