Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xu Lei achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. In the Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition auction, the work Visions of Nature sold for HKD 52,500.00 (€ 5,735.86) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xu Lei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Decent Of The Moon in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,900,000.00 (€ 681,867.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xu Lei erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Asia: Hong Kong Edition wurde die Arbeit Visions of Nature für HKD 52.500,00 (€ 5.735,86) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xu Lei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Decent Of The Moon im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.900.000,00 (€ 681.867,05).
