Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Xie Zhiguang could be acquired at Bonhams in December last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Chinese Paintings Online 20th century and Beyond! auction, the work Two Landscape Paintings changed hands for USD 765.00 (€ 715.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Zhiguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies and Crane in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 45,696.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xie Zhiguang konnte im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online 20th century and Beyond! wechselte die Arbeit Two Landscape Paintings für USD 765,00 (€ 715,09) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Zhiguang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies and Crane im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 45.696,26).
