Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by Xie Zhiguang was auctioned at POLY in October last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 12,000.00 (€ 1,537.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Zhiguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies and Crane in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 45,696.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von Xie Zhiguang kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei POLY zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 12.000,00 (€ 1.537,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Zhiguang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies and Crane im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 45.696,26).
