Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gourd by Xie Zhiguang was auctioned at Bonhams in Sydney in September this year. The price achieved of USD 480.00 (€ 453.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xie Zhiguang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ladies and Crane in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 45,696.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gourd von Xie Zhiguang kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Sydney zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 480,00 (€ 453,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xie Zhiguang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ladies and Crane im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 45.696,26).
