A top price for Xie Zhiguang - as previously expected
The work Ladies and Crane by Xie Zhiguang was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 375,000.00 (€ 45,696.26) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 400,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Ladies and Crane is the most expensive artwork by Xie Zhiguang that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Ladies and Crane von Xie Zhiguang kam im November 2016 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 45.696,26) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 400.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Ladies and Crane das teuerste Kunstwerk von Xie Zhiguang, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
