In April 2014 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings II - New Chinese Ink Paintings, which included the work The Spirit Beast And The Net Iii by Xiao Xu. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 350,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 379,500.00 (€ 35,295.96). Other works by Xiao Xu have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 495,600.00 (€ 62,731.68) in August last year for the work Invisibility.

Im April 2014 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings II - New Chinese Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Spirit Beast And The Net Iii von Xiao Xu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 350.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 379.500,00 (€ 35.295,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Xiao Xu haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von HKD 495.600,00 (€ 62.731,68) im August letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Invisibility beobachtet.
