Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2009 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern Paintings, which included the work Flowers by Xiao Shufang. It changed hands for a price of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 2,511.33) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Shufang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,560.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2009 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Xiao Shufang zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 2.511,33) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Shufang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.560,47).
