The work Living Besides Stream by Xiao Junxian was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,037.44), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Junxian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pine Trees in April this year with an auction result of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 67,398.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Living Besides Stream von Xiao Junxian kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.037,44) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Junxian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pine Trees im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 67.398,91).
