Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Xiao Junxian. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 18,000.00 (€ 2,176.76), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiao Junxian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pine Trees in April this year with an auction result of HKD 66,000.00 (€ 67,398.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Xiao Junxian zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 18.000,00 (€ 2.176,76) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiao Junxian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pine Trees im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 66.000,00 (€ 67.398,91).
