Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scene Fan by Xiang Yuanbian was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2013. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 120,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 126,500.00 (€ 12,382.94). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Xiang Yuanbian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Osmanthus, which sold at auction in November 2011 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,266.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scene Fan von Xiang Yuanbian kam im April 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 120.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 126.500,00 (€ 12.382,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Xiang Yuanbian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Osmanthus beobachtet, die im November 2011 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.266,56) versteigert wurde.
