This artwork by Xiang Yuanbian achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers Fan sold for HKD 80,500.00 (€ 7,639.03) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Xiang Yuanbian have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Osmanthus in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,266.56).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xiang Yuanbian erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flowers Fan für HKD 80.500,00 (€ 7.639,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Xiang Yuanbian auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Osmanthus im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.266,56).
