Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Xiang Yuanbian was sold in the Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction at POLY in Hong Kong in May 2013. It changed hands for a price of HKD 9,200.00 (€ 912.35) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 5,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xiang Yuanbian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Osmanthus in November 2011 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,266.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Xiang Yuanbian wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Delightful Harmony - Fine Modern and Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 9.200,00 (€ 912,35) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 5.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xiang Yuanbian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Osmanthus im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 38.266,56).
