Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Xavier Martinez could be acquired at Bonhams in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the California Art auction, the work Trees with Distant View Beyond changed hands for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,540.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xavier Martinez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Alcaiseria, Guadalajara, Mexico in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 45,410.00 (€ 46,073.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xavier Martinez konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion California Art wechselte die Arbeit Trees with Distant View Beyond für USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.540,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xavier Martinez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Alcaiseria, Guadalajara, Mexico im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.410,00 (€ 46.073,46).
