Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Xavier Martinez achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in April this year. In the California Art auction, the work Cloud Sensations (San Francisco Bay) sold for USD 4,462.50 (€ 4,042.12) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Xavier Martinez achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Alcaiseria, Guadalajara, Mexico in June 2002 with an auction result of USD 45,410.00 (€ 46,073.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Xavier Martinez erzielte im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion California Art wurde die Arbeit Cloud Sensations (San Francisco Bay) für USD 4.462,50 (€ 4.042,12) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Xavier Martinez erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Alcaiseria, Guadalajara, Mexico im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 45.410,00 (€ 46.073,46).
