Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Scholar Seeking for Prunus by Wu Wei was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 225,000.00 (€ 25,017.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Sceneries by a Lake in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 7,607,500.00 (€ 626,298.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Scholar Seeking for Prunus von Wu Wei kam im November 2021 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 225.000,00 (€ 25.017,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Sceneries by a Lake im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.607.500,00 (€ 626.298,68).
