The work Fishing Alone In The Winter by Wu Wei was sold in the FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY auction at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2004. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 215,100.00 (€ 21,668.63), 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Wei achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two Sceneries by a Lake in May 2008 with an auction result of HKD 7,607,500.00 (€ 626,298.68).

Die Arbeit Fishing Alone In The Winter von Wu Wei wurde im Oktober 2004 in der Auktion FINE CLASSICAL CHINESE PAINTINGS AND CALLIGRAPHY bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 215.100,00 (€ 21.668,63) und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Wei erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two Sceneries by a Lake im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 7.607.500,00 (€ 626.298,68).
