The auction ended at the price of USD 4,000.00 (€ 2,903.39), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wu Rongguang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Xingshu in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,096.07).
