Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu by Wu Rongguang was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,378.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Wu Rongguang have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Calligraphy In Xingshu was auctioned for HKD 275,000.00 (€ 26,096.07).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Xingshu von Wu Rongguang wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.378,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wu Rongguang konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit Calligraphy In Xingshu für HKD 275.000,00 (€ 26.096,07) versteigert.
