Auction result well in line with expectations
In August this year Bonhams in Sydney held the auction Asian Art including Paintings from the Wong Family Collection, which included the work Landscape by Wu Dan. The price achieved of AUD 1,845.00 (€ 1,100.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 1,500.00 – 2,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Dan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape After Xia Gui in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,106.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Sydney die Auktion Asian Art including Paintings from the Wong Family Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Wu Dan zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 1.845,00 (€ 1.100,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 1.500,00 – 2.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Dan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape After Xia Gui im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 100.106,78).
