The work Clear Mountains and Misty Cliffs by Wu Dan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. It achieved a price of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 64,599.09), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wu Dan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Landscape After Xia Gui sold at auction in September 2016 with the realized price of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,106.78).

Die Arbeit Clear Mountains and Misty Cliffs von Wu Dan kam im November 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 64.599,09) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wu Dan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Landscape After Xia Gui im September 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 100.106,78).
