Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Visiting a Friend in Remote Mountains by Wu Dan was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 83,776.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 550,000.00 – 700,000.00. Other works by Wu Dan have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2016 the work Landscape After Xia Gui was auctioned for USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,106.78).

Die Arbeit Visiting a Friend in Remote Mountains von Wu Dan wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 83.776,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 550.000,00 – 700.000,00.
