The work Letters To Elder Brother Wu Dagen by Wu Dacheng was worth HKD 262,500.00 (€ 30,003.36) to a buyer in October 2019. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Dacheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,360,000.00 (€ 619,458.88).

Die Arbeit Letters To Elder Brother Wu Dagen von Wu Dacheng war einem Käufer im Oktober 2019 HKD 262.500,00 (€ 30.003,36) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Dacheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.360.000,00 (€ 619.458,88).
