The work Calligraphy by Wu Dacheng was auctioned at Christies in New York in July 2020. It achieved a price of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,493.29), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Dacheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,360,000.00 (€ 619,458.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 54 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy von Wu Dacheng kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.493,29) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Dacheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.360.000,00 (€ 619.458,88).
