Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen by Wu Dacheng was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of HKD 214,200.00 (€ 22,933.47) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 180,000.00 – 220,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wu Dacheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 5,360,000.00 (€ 619,458.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jinwen von Wu Dacheng kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 214.200,00 (€ 22.933,47) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 180.000,00 – 220.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wu Dacheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 5.360.000,00 (€ 619.458,88).
