Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Gunda Gundie' by Wosene Worke Kosrof was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art Online Sale auction at Bonhams in London in October 2019. The price achieved of GBP 4,437.50 (€ 5,147.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wosene Worke Kosrof have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roots Of Words Iii in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 46,397.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Gunda Gundie' von Wosene Worke Kosrof wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.437,50 (€ 5.147,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
