In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Inkomo iyashayelwa ubisi lwayo sold for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 13,991.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wonder Buhle Mbambo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Hearts in October 2021 with an auction result of USD 175,000.00 (€ 151,488.92).

In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Inkomo iyashayelwa ubisi lwayo für GBP 12.600,00 (€ 13.991,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wonder Buhle Mbambo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Hearts im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 175.000,00 (€ 151.488,92).
