Auction result well in line with expectations
The work View From Charing Cross Road, Traffic In London Fog, 1935 by Wolfgang Suschitzky was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2014. The price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,065.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wolfgang Suschitzky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cambridge Circus, London, which sold at auction in February 2021 for GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,352.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit View From Charing Cross Road, Traffic In London Fog, 1935 von Wolfgang Suschitzky kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.065,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wolfgang Suschitzky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cambridge Circus, London beobachtet, die im Februar 2021 für GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.352,76) versteigert wurde.
