A top price for Wolfgang Suschitzky - as previously expected
In February 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction British. Cool., which included the work Cambridge Circus, London by Wolfgang Suschitzky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,352.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cambridge Circus, London is the most expensive artwork by Wolfgang Suschitzky that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Februar 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British. Cool. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cambridge Circus, London von Wolfgang Suschitzky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.352,76) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Cambridge Circus, London das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wolfgang Suschitzky, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
