It achieved a price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,825.85), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wolfgang Suschitzky; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Cambridge Circus, London sold at auction in February 2021 with the realized price of GBP 2,040.00 (€ 2,352.76).

Die Arbeit St. Paul'S, London, 1942 von Wolfgang Suschitzky wurde im April 2014 in der Auktion Made In Britain bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.825,85) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wolfgang Suschitzky; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Cambridge Circus, London im Februar 2021 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.040,00 (€ 2.352,76).
