Sold at the lower estimate price
The work April Morning by Winston Branch was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2020. The result of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,947.44) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Winston Branch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Magic is in You in October this year with an auction result of GBP 239,400.00 (€ 274,897.71).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit April Morning von Winston Branch kam im Januar 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.947,44) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Winston Branch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Magic is in You im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 239.400,00 (€ 274.897,71).
