A top price for Win Pe
In May last year Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Strawberry Seller by Win Pe. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 267,600.00 (€ 31,769.86), 34% above the upper estimate. With this result, Strawberry Seller is even the most expensive work of art by Win Pe that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Win Pe
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Strawberry Seller von Win Pe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 267.600,00 (€ 31.769,86) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Strawberry Seller sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Win Pe, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
