Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape with Cherries by Win Pe was auctioned at Bonhams in Hong Kong in December last year. The price achieved of HKD 8,287.50 (€ 993.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 6,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Win Pe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Strawberry Seller in May last year with an auction result of HKD 267,600.00 (€ 31,769.86).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape with Cherries von Win Pe kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 8.287,50 (€ 993,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 6.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Win Pe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Strawberry Seller im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 267.600,00 (€ 31.769,86).
