This artwork by Willy Sluiter achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. In the The former Kamerbeek Collection auction, the work Nillmy Ouderdomsrente: reading sold for EUR 1,125.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willy Sluiter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Modern times: promenading on Scheveningen boulevard in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 89,625.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Willy Sluiter erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The former Kamerbeek Collection wurde die Arbeit Nillmy Ouderdomsrente: reading für EUR 1.125,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willy Sluiter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Modern times: promenading on Scheveningen boulevard im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 89.625,00.
