Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lawn Tennis, Hilversum by Willy Sluiter was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2013. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,387.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willy Sluiter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Modern times: promenading on Scheveningen boulevard in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 89,625.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lawn Tennis, Hilversum von Willy Sluiter kam im Oktober 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.387,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willy Sluiter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Modern times: promenading on Scheveningen boulevard im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 89.625,00.
