In May 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work Bomschuiten on the beach, Katwijk by Willy Sluiter. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 8,125.00 63% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willy Sluiter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Modern times: promenading on Scheveningen boulevard in April 2003 with an auction result of EUR 89,625.00.

Im Mai 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bomschuiten on the beach, Katwijk von Willy Sluiter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willy Sluiter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Modern times: promenading on Scheveningen boulevard im April 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 89.625,00.
