Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Les amoureux de la Bastille, Paris by Willy Ronis for GBP 2,520.00 (€ 2,964.54). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Willy Ronis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carrefour Sèvres-Babylone - Paris, 1948 in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 26,650.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Les amoureux de la Bastille, Paris von Willy Ronis für GBP 2.520,00 (€ 2.964,54) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willy Ronis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carrefour Sèvres-Babylone - Paris, 1948 im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.650,00.
