The price achieved of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,638.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Punch and Judy on the Beach is the most expensive artwork by William Samuel Horton that we have observed at auctions so far.
