The result of USD 1,000.00 (€ 920.13) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Samuel Horton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Punch and Judy on the Beach in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,638.17).
