In the American Art auction, the work A Country Road In England changed hands for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,507.21) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Samuel Horton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Punch and Judy on the Beach in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 43,750.00 (€ 38,638.17).
