Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 15,300.00 (€ 13,555.42). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Posey Silva - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work California Coast, a triptych, which sold at auction in May this year for USD 57,600.00 (€ 54,064.20).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 15.300,00 (€ 13.555,42) einen neuen Besitzer.
