This work of art by William Posey Silva could be acquired at Bonhams in Marlborough, Massachusetts in May this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Art | Bonhams Skinner auction, the work California Coast, a triptych changed hands for USD 57,600.00 (€ 54,064.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, California Coast, a triptych is the most expensive artwork by William Posey Silva that we have observed at auction so far.
