Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 48,000.00 (€ 35,679.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Louis Sonntag have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Morning In The Alleghenies in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 230,500.00 (€ 177,171.41).
