Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The market, Dieppe by William Lee-Hankey was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,995.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Lee-Hankey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Goose Girl in November 2002 with an auction result of GBP 53,775.00 (€ 84,208.88).

Die Arbeit The market, Dieppe von William Lee-Hankey kam im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 2.995,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Lee-Hankey erzielen.
