Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The market, Dieppe by William Lee-Hankey was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 2,995.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Lee-Hankey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Goose Girl in November 2002 with an auction result of GBP 53,775.00 (€ 84,208.88).
