It achieved a price of GBP 1,664.00 (€ 1,928.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Lee-Hankey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Goose Girl in November 2002 with an auction result of GBP 53,775.00 (€ 84,208.88).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.664,00 (€ 1.928,21) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Lee-Hankey erzielen.
