Admittedly, works by William James Webbe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The White Owl. 'Alone and warming his five wits, The white owl in the belfry sits' in December 2012 with an auction result of GBP 589,250.00 (€ 726,708.90).
