Here, the estimate of EUR 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,032.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Meadows achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On The Grand Canal, Venice, Before The Fall of The Tower; And Santa Maria Della Salute, Venice in May 2005 with an auction result of GBP 15,600.00 (€ 23,030.50).

Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.032,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Meadows erzielen.
