Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flying Fox Landscape by William Francis Robinson was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in May 2004. The price achieved of AUD 46,605.00 (€ 27,229.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Francis Robinson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Back Creek Gorge to the Coomera in May 2002 with an auction result of AUD 305,500.00 (€ 185,151.52).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 46.605,00 (€ 27.229,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden.
