A top price for William Edward Mayes - as previously expected
The work Hensted Mill, Norfolk by William Edward Mayes was sold in the British Art on Paper including the Collection and Studio of auction at Christies in London in March 2003. It changed hands for a price of GBP 587.50 (€ 851.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hensted Mill, Norfolk is the most expensive artwork by William Edward Mayes that we have observed at auctions so far.
