It changed hands for a price of GBP 587.50 (€ 851.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Hensted Mill, Norfolk is the most expensive artwork by William Edward Mayes that we have observed at auctions so far.
