Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Belgian river Landscape by William Degouve de Nuncques was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2016. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,829.37) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Degouve de Nuncques achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Belgian Reve De Voyage in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 109,250.00 (€ 132,091.46).
